There were recently a few issues related to the shipping costs of certain orders. This came about because of a misconfiguration of the store that was completely my fault - not Randy's. I sincerely apologize for any hard feelings that this may have caused with any of Randy's fans and I just want to assure you that this should not happen again.

There's a new show on Syfy called Hollywood Treasure. It follows the folks that run Profiles in History - an auction house that specializes in Hollywood Memorabilia.

Spinner fans waiting for Randy's next masterpiece probably know this already...., but http://douglastrumbull.com/ has some great photos of Spinner models under construction, various full size versions and many images I hadn't seen before, including a great shot of the underside of the larger hero model.

It's well worth looking at this wonderful site which covers Douglas Trumbull's work on numerous iconic movies.

For those of you outside of North America, you may now use the shopping cart to place orders.

Don't be surprised if the site behaves strangely for the next couple of days. The transfer seems to have taken but there's one or two DNS issues that I have to deal with. Also, the store is close, but not QUITE ready to go. For the next couple of days you'll probably want to contract Randy directly (use the contact link above) if you want to order a kit.

Randy was quickly outgrowing the last website, so I whipped up this new one. You'll noticed that it's quite a bit different, but I think that we have a new home that will last for quite a while.

If you want to comment on blog postings you're going to need to create a new account. Accounts from the last site did not transfer over to this one. Sorry about that, but it was a function of how the last site was created.

One of the biggest changes that we have going on is a new store. This will help make the ordering process easier on everyone.
